How to View a Prototype

To view or display a form:

  1. Select a form (frame, dialog, option pane, file chooser or color chooser) in the Structure tree.
  2. From the Run menu, select "Run Form" or select the toolbar icon Run Form
  3. The form displays

Note: When you use the command "Run Form", the form loaded in the composer is the one launched. You do not have to select it in the tree (except on nodes Prototype and Forms).

To view or display the whole prototype:

  1. No matter where you are in the Structure tree, select "Run Prototype" on the Run menu or select the toolbar icon  Run Prototype Run Prototype
  2. The prototype is launched, displaying the first form in the tree. If you wish to always have the main frame displaying when launching the prototype, either keep it as the first form in the tree or select the checkbox of the property "Main Frame" in the Properties.
