Clipboard Tab

Description

The clipboard purpose is to be able to re-use controls. These controls are saved and are availables when you restart the 'Designer'. You can re-use them in your current session or in a future session. Whenever a form, a container with controls, a control or a group of controls are cut or copied in the composer, they are added to the clipboard. This tab displays them in a list.

Each clipboard item displays an icon with a text. A screenshot of the selected item in the list is shown to help you identify your clipboard items. Click the screenshot preview to view a full size image. "Group" () is a generic name for a multi-selection of controls added to the clipboard.

Context-Sensitivity

When trying to add a clipboard item to the prototype, there is context-sensitivity. You can add any clipboard item the same way you add items. The paste icon () is enabled only when it makes sense to paste the clipboard item at the selection in the Structure. For example, a menu item can only be pasted when a menu is selected in the Structure tree view.
